Sweet Treat Card

Here is another fun project for my Holiday Workshop next week. I used some Sweet Treat Cups from SU! along with the Creative Basics paper and All Decked Out stamp set from CTMH to make a fun snowman card. I made one of these for each of my girls, they should enjoy them!

Thanks to Mike over at Stampin-Style for the fun sliding tag idea to get to the candy - I just moved mine to the inside of the card instead of the front like he did.

Mother/Daughter Play Time!

The girls invited some friends over to play last week, but Kaylee's friend wasn't able to come over, so her and I got to play instead. She wanted to stamp so I pulled out some of my pre-cut card kits from past workshops and she picked her favorite card to recreate. I taught her how to "stamp kiss" - she had fun! Here are the cards we created...

Here is the original card from the pre-cut kit - inspired by Lisa Stenz from a few years ago.

Here is Kaylee's card - besidespre-cut paper, she did it all herself!

And I still had some of my stuff out from my Monthly Word Puzzle Make-Up Workshop, so I took my page title idea from THIS workshop and turned it into this card.

All Decked Out

It's been snowing here just about every day this week - not much, only a skiff, nothing that really sticks, but it's been getting me in a snowy mood! I found these cards that I created last month but forgot to post, so here they are! I used November's Stamp of the Month, All Decked Out, to create a card for a gathering I had. I made two that I didn't like before I finally made one I liked and felt was good enough for the ladies to create at the party. I'll show my favorite first and then the others. For this first one I used Liquid Applique on the top of the hat, ends of the scarf, and middle of the snowflakes.

This was the first - I love the snowman, but it was a lot of cutting for not a very fun card.
This one was next - I liked it better since there was more to the card, but still too much cutting for a gathering project. I used Liquid Applique on the hat and scarf and Prisma Glitter on the swirls.

My NEW Workshop Club

I created these fun projects for my newest workshop - it's a Monthly Word Puzzle club - we start this month using the January Word Puzzle and November's Stamp of the Month, All Decked Out. Isn't that little snowman too cute - thanks to Bren Yule for the fabulous idea of using CTMH's new corduroy brads for the earmuffs - brilliant! For complete details on my workshop, just click here.
