Am I going to make it?

Since I am WAY behind on reaching my layout goal for the end of the year, I pulled out a couple of pages that I did a few years ago for swaps or gatherings and finally added some pictures. Do you think I can still reach my goal by the end of the year? There's not much time left! Here are some super quick pages that helped my numbers a little! I only count pages that I keep for myself that have pictures and journaling on them - if I counted gifts, I think I would already be at my goal ;-P

I did have to create the right page for this one since all I had was the left page - but it still went together super fast.

These pages were for a Themed Swap that I was invited to participate in about 2 years ago, hosted by Tiffany Cheney. At that time I never thought I'd have use for boy pages ;-) Swap participants received the following boy themed projects from me:

...and I created a companion page for myself.

And here it is with pictures!

And since I have LOTS of pictures of this little boy and his busy-ness, I put the extra pictures on a photo storage page and used flip flaps to fit them all.

2 Month Calendar Page

I took some time to create last week when my SIL Sandy came over to play - we both had new goodies from the new Summer Idea Book so we had a little show & tell ;-P I finally did Trysten's 2 month calendar page - I was glad I hadn't got around to it before, because then I got to use the fun new Foam Numbers! I tried out the foam embossing technique that is featured in the new Idea Book and after a couple tries, I got it and think it will be lots of fun to do again! The first time I didn't heat it long enough so the image didn't emboss very well. So then I tried again, heating it a little longer, but then the image curled up too much, and it was hard to stamp. So, I used a little bit of Tombow to attach the number to my table (luckily my table is heat resistant) - that way it stayed flat and was easy to heat enough and then stamp to emboss. Here is my page - I used the Stardust papers (I'm keeping with that same paper through his entire calendar) but I added a bit of Outdoor Denim to match his outfit. I also used some of the Stardust Stickease and embossed the Precious Alphabet using Desert Sand embossing powder.

Sweet Baby Face - PageMaps Sketch Contest

Here is my last minute entry for this month's PageMaps Blog Sketch Contest. I have been really sick today so while David and the girls were outside playing and doing a little spring cleaning, I just took it easy inside. I had an hour where I actually felt good enough to do some scrapping, so I pulled out these old pictures of Brianna, and this fun bright paper that my SIL Sandy gave to me, and put together this page. I didn't think out of the box with this sketch since the pictures fit perfectly, plus I wasn't feeling very creative with this cold ;-P but here it is!

I used a variety of White Daisy rub-ons from CTMH, flower brads from the White Daisy Mini Medleys, Color-Ready alphabet stickers, and the following stamp sets from CTMH: Calendar, Noteworthy, Precious Alphabet, Sans Alphabet, and Adorable.

Treasures of Yesterday

Shortly after I received my Sarsaparilla papers in early April, I found this picture that I took when I was in High School and knew it was a perfect match - I got the layout all ready but just couldn't put it together as I couldn't find the right title or quote. So today I was inspired to finish it and finally found the perfect quote and title, so I'm pleased with the results. My original plan was to stitch some hemp circles, but I decided instead to stick with the clocks - I did the Cracked Glass technique on the two big ones and put a round Window Charm on the smaller one.

I have submitted this layout for Nona's NSD Challenge - we were supposed to use a large picture, circles, and a favorite quote - (I used "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven." -Ecclesiastes).

I used a PageMaps sketch for this layout. Products Used: Desert Sand textured CS, Sarsaparilla papers, natural hemp, Make It Count stamp set, Classic Caps stamp set, Precious Alphabet stamp set, DE Ribbon Accents, Clear Embossing Powder, Circle Window Charm, Black, Desert Sand, and Barn Red stamp pad.
