November Word Puzzle

Here is what I have created for this month's workshop - I used the Sweet Home Workshop Guide but changed up my projects just a little, like I always do. I used the *new* Sweet Home paper, *new* Top Coats, November Word Puzzle, October SOTM Holiday Warmth, Homestead Alphabet stamp set, and White Daisy accents (crochet flower, flower brads, and bigger brads).
My workshop is going to be on Thursday, October 29th at 1:00 p.m. OR Friday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m., but if you're not able to come, don't worry - you can still complete the projects! If you purchase the Sweet Home Workshop Kit that I am featuring this month, it includes the products needed plus the cutting guides and instructions for both the layouts AND the cards so you can create them on your own - how cool is that! You can see complete kit details at the end of this post - just scroll down.

And here is mine with pictures added, and the companion page to this layout - that's the first time I've added pictures BEFORE the workshop!

Card Option

Here are the layouts and cards exactly as they are created in the Workshop Guide - you can see that I changed mine a bit. I didn't get the Exclusive Workshop Kit this month, so I didn't use the Enjoy the Journey stamp set that comes in the kit on my samples. You can click HERE to request more information on this month's featured kit.

The Sweet Home Exclusive Workshop Kit that I am featuring this month is only $29.95 (retail value $35.85) and includes the Sweet Home Level 2 Kit, Exclusive B-size stamp set - Enjoy the Journey, White Daisy Mini Medleys, and a Workshop Guide. What a great deal! But there are also other pricing options for the workshop - ranging from $5 to $40, so don't forget to check out my workshop details HERE.

October SOTM Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month's SOTM is called Holiday Warmth and it's a fun set of 11 Christmas-themed stamps. We have a lot of fabulous CTMH Consultants sharing their artwork with this stamp set this month so I hope you'll check them all out! This month we have split our hop into three different groups - you can view all three complete lists HERE.

Here is a fun Christmas page that I created using this stamp set. I've been using so much blue on my pages lately, it was good to think pink again ;-) My original plan was to use the presents from the stamp set under the tree, but then I saw these presents on one of the B&T papers from the Jingle paper pack and knew they would be perfect! I used the new Glitter Brads but wanted a couple more colors so I made my own using Juniper and Creme Brulee brads and Clear embossing powder mixed with Prisma Glitter. Oh, and can you tell I just LOVE our felt die-cuts, I've been using them a lot lately! Here I used some shapes from both the Whimsy and Wonder sets - so many fun possibilities! I also discovered a fun new blog this week, called ScrapSketch - this page was created using this week's challenge sketch. These are the ONLY pictures I have from Christmas 2003 because our computer crashed in January 2004. These were taken with our 35mm camera - we got a new digital camera for Christmas that year and we lost all of our digital pictures - I guess this is better than nothing!

Remember, you can click on the pictures to view them larger.

I had three big green Glitter Brads left after I created the page, so I decided to throw together a super-quick card to use them up. This uses the Button Trio pattern from Originals.
