This week's challenge over at Sketches! {by tamara} is a recipe challenge - use the following three items on your cards or layouts. You can use more items, but these three items must be included.
*Rub Ons
*Flowers
*Bling

This layout also goes along with this week's challenge over at Practical Scrappers. I had so much fun with the following layout...you can click on the pictures to view them larger...
ETA: I forgot to mention that the sketch for this layout came from the December 2009 PageMaps. The idea to use the I Am a Child of God song like this with the birth details came from a wall hanging that I see in Shelly's house every time we visit her and my dad.

I used 51 bitty sparkles - I was fitting them in everywhere! Here are some close-ups of the sparkles, flowers, and rub-ons used.

This layout was my original project for this challenge, but I knew I wasn't going to get it done before the deadline to e-mail stuff to Tamara, so I quickly made the following circle card to meet the deadline, but then a day or two later I finally had a chance to finish up the layout and e-mailed it to Tamara as well. Here is the card that I originally submitted...

Jena, WOW! This page is absolutely precious beyond words. You have put so much detail on this page, which has such significant meaning. I think I might just have to use this idea for the first page in my youngest daughter's scrapbook.
This is fantastic. I love your delicate use of bling. Thank you for joining us at Practical Scrappers.
Hugs

Beautiful layout!
Beautiful....love how you incorporated the poem into the layout
Oh, I'm so glad you played at Practical Scrappers this week! I love this layout and your style. I really enjoyed browsing your blog and I'm following you now! :)

What a wonderful idea to put that gem circle on the flower! I am so stealing this idea.
Thanks!
What a sweet layout with so many adorable details! And I'm loving your circle card with the sparkles circle, so consider it lifted. ;-) Alas, with two grandgirls now, I'm lacking MY own time in the studio! But I know it will be oh, too quickly that they'll be off to school, so I'm loving all my grandparenting time possible.
