So it's been a while since I've participated in a Blog Hop - I used to be the administrator of the Stamp of the Month Blog Hops, but once we decided to move I stepped down, but I've really missed it! Once I found out about the following hop, I couldn't wait to join in and get started again.

For this Relay Race, you need to start at the beginning. If you came here from Tamytha's Blog, you're on the right track! If you're starting here, then you need to go back to the beginning to Nikka's blog to see how our hop progresses since this one is a little different - this is an Inspiration Relay Race and each person is inspired by the person before them to create something new.

Tamytha created the following page:
I was inspired by the sketch and decided to turn it into a card. I rotated it once and used the large scallop circle and Sparkles as well. I was inspired by the 'U' in her title to create the sentiment on my card, and the bird inspired me to use something with wings. Here is my card:
I used the Wings paper, Friendship Alphabet Large that I embossed with Clear Embossing Powder on the patterned paper and popped up with 3-D foam tape, and Friendship Alphabet Small. I cut the butterfly out of the patterned paper and used 3-D foam tape again to make the wings pop - I also added Sparkles to the butterfly's body.
Now that you've seen my piece, next stop is Tracy's blog - see how my card inspired her and discover what she created!
Thanks for visiting - I'd love to hear what you think so leave a comment below!

I think it looks great and am glad that you are back to doing something that you so enjoyed once again.

Isn't it funny what inspires us? I hadn't seen the U on the original until you mentioned it. Nice work.
Very cool card! I like how you incorporated the elements you mentioned into your card but made it totally your own.
this is great. i love your card. plusi think its funny you jumped it back to butterflies. thanks for joining the relay race
Not that IS funny - you added the butterflies even though they were not on your inspiration piece.. see great minds all think alike!
So fun to see how you were inspired by my layout, especially how you translated it into a card. Very nice!
I'm loving the colors you chose for your art work. I really like the boldness of the colors and the letters. Super cute!
