New Twist on a Level 1!

I've shocked myself this week - here is my project for the Family Reunion Auction. For those of you who don't know me, I'll explain the shock - I got this done BEFORE we left for the reunion! The last two years I've taken my stuff with me and worked on it at the reunion, but not this year!
The cover design was inspired by the Wishes pattern, Pieced Together. For the inside of the book, I took a Back Country Level 1 Kit and cut it up to create 16 6x6 pages. A lot of the pages were either inspired by the Reflections 6x6 program which I used on last year's Auction project (which you can view HERE), or by some of the pages I received in my Word Puzzle 6x6 swap and some that I recreated for my Monthly Word Puzzle Workshops. I didn't do any stamping on this project (except for the word Family on the cover) and it went together very quickly - I just used the Level 1 papers, stickease, and two extra pieces of patterned paper that came in the bulk consultant papers. I was able to complete this project while Trysten took his afternoon nap after church on Sunday - I'm glad I got it done, now there will be more water play time for me this weekend!

Anyway, I took pictures of the cut up Level 1 pages so you can get an idea where my pages came from.

Products Used (all CTMH): My Creations Display Album, Reflections Program IV 6x6 Series, Back Country Level 1 paper pack, Pewter Accessories, Outdoor Denim Ribbon, Sanding Block, Edge Distressor

Anyway, with that, I'd better finish packing as we're off to the reunion later today - well, the reunion doesn't start yet, but we're heading out to the lake early this week. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Jena, what a great way to use Level 1--and a beautiful display album for your family fotos! That Back Country pp is so rich in colors. TFS! I recently used the My Creations Display Album for a pregnancy album/journal for Emily (due in Nov) and had a lot of fun with it.

Really great Display Album. And I like how you showed the 12x12 cut-up and then how you embellished each piece. They all look wonderful. Certainly hope the auction-winner was pleased. :)
