Now here is my layout for my Inspiration Challenge - Week #10
I didn't really stray from the original design - I just loved it how it was! It reminded me of splashes so I knew it would be perfect with this picture. I also used Marjorie's Color Challenge #17, as it was similar to the original design, except I changed the Holiday Red to Dutch Blue. I had fully intended on using the red as Kaylee's swimsuit is red, but you can't really see it in this pic, and I added the blue to go with Brianna's floaties - isn't that just like me to always change the color challenge combos ;-)
I free-handed the first splash and from there just used the same template to make them bigger or smaller. I used a plate to create the circle element. It was really pretty simple once I cut out the splashes! I plan on doing a companion page, or possibly a couple more, as I have a lot of pics from that day - but here is the first one for now - thanks for looking!

Your layout is so fresh and pretty, and I scrolled down and found the inspiration - wow you nailed it! What an awesome job! I loved reading about your cute little girls too :) They are adorable! Kindergarten and First Grade are huge milestones ... believe me it will seem like two blinks and they're graduating from high school! My kids are now 23, 21 and 17 -- it seems like only yesterday that they were little. Ahh I do miss those days.

Your blog is looking great! I hope Brailee is doing better. Love the layout. I am really struggling with this color challenge. I have things sitting on my scrap desk, but I am having trouble putting it together. Your creation is fabulous!

I LOVE those splashes you cut out and the huge circle you did in your layout!! It's so fun and fresh, perfect for the summer and the colors are too fun! I really like that added dutch blue in there, it makes it more of a water layout ^_~ Thanks for playing dearie, fantastic layout as always!
